Yahoo launching a service simialar to google adsense
Yahoo! is expanding its distribution network to include smaller websites with unique products and services to publishers of all sizes.
The new Yahoo! Publisher Network platform is now in beta and it enables you to:
Generate additional revenue from your site. Display ads related to the content on your site. You’ll earn revenue from qualified clicks.
Take advantage of Yahoo! Publisher tools, services and programs. Integrate other Yahoo! services into your web site, including Add to My Yahoo! (RSS), Y!Q and much more to come…
Help shape what Yahoo! offers the publishing community. This beta program is just the beginning. Their mission is to deliver products and services based on the needs of the publishing community, simialar to Google Adsense.

It seems as though the competition is working out well for publishers as the companies will now be fighting for traffic. With the addition of Chitika and Microsoft’s system on the horizon, it looks as though the future will be very bright for publishers.
