Americans mixed about constant Net access
According to a new poll conducted by a telephone survey of 1,066 American adults by pollster. Americans are enthusiastic yet scared of constant net access. Americans enjoy using their mobile video and high definition broadband but at the same time are intimidated by the fact that big brother could be watching. 53% of the people that responded to the poll said that they would switch from cable or satellite to IPTV if they had access to the same content. 64% of the people that responded to the poll with children under 18, said they believe that TVs in cars would be a useful way to entertain their kids, but 70% still wouldn’t subscribe if given the opportunity. 81% of the people surveyed said that they thought that it was not a good idea for children have access to mobile television on their cell phones. And only 20% of the people that were surveyed said that high-quality TV service on their mobile devices and computers were resulted in there watching more television. 70% of the people said that it is possible to become addicted to handheld devices and that it is rude to actually use these devices when it meetings or during family functions. And surprisingly 88 percent of the people that were surveyed actually said that they thought that the ban of a Internet enabled devices while driving should be implemented. The highest statistic of all was that 89 to 90% of the 1066 Americans that were surveyed believed that it videos cell phone calls and high quality live TV on the Internet will be prevalent in the next five years.
